The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is the most globally recognized certification in the information security market.

CISSP certifies information security professionals with in-depth technical knowledge, management skills, and the experience of an information security expert in effectively developing and managing organizations.

Requirements

  • at least five years of professional experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP CBK.

  • Alternatively, four years of experience plus a higher education degree or an (ISC)² accepted qualification (this includes numerous IT security certifications, for example).

  • If you do not have the required experience for the certification, you can still take the exam and become an Associate of (ISC)² until you achieve the necessary experience.
