The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is the most globally recognized certification in the information security market.
CISSP certifies information security professionals with in-depth technical knowledge, management skills, and the experience of an information security expert in effectively developing and managing organizations.
Requirements
at least five years of professional experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP CBK.
Alternatively, four years of experience plus a higher education degree or an (ISC)² accepted qualification (this includes numerous IT security certifications, for example).
If you do not have the required experience for the certification, you can still take the exam and become an Associate of (ISC)² until you achieve the necessary experience.
