Overview
In our CGEIT® Intensive Course, you will learn about the roles, responsibilities, and various focus areas within IT governance. The course content supports you in the processes of fulfilling and improving the requirements of IT systems in your company.
Are you responsible for management, consultation, or control in the field of IT governance? Then the CGEIT® certification will help you enhance your IT governance experience and knowledge, and underscore this with the internationally recognized ISACA CGEIT® certification.
** At the end of the course, each participant is free to take the exam for the ISACA Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT®) directly at their own Schönbrunn TASC test center.
Requirements
There are no prescribed requirements to participate in the CGEIT® course and take the exam. However, we recommend having a basic understanding of IT Governance.

Requirements for the CGEIT® Certification
1. Passing the CGEIT® exam
2. Compliance with the ISACA Code of Professional Ethics
3. Agreement to adhere to the CGEIT® Continuing Education Policy
4. Submission of evidence of relevant work experience in IT leadership as defined in the CGEIT Job Practice
At least five years of experience in leading, consulting, or supervising, or otherwise supporting your company’s IT leadership.
Of which at least one year of experience in defining, establishing, or managing an IT governance system. The nature and extent of the accepted experience are described in CGEIT Domain 1, as well as experience that is directly related to two or more of the remaining CGEIT domains.
There are no exceptions or substitutes for CGEIT experience, except if you are a full-time university lecturer and teach related subjects regarding IT governance at an accredited university. Two years of teaching experience may substitute for one year of professional experience in IT governance.
At most, one year can be replaced by other proof of experience.
